About me

"THE VERY LEAST YOU CAN DO in Life is Figure Out What You Hope to Be - and the MOST You Can Do is to Live Inside that Hope..." I finally deciphered this old saying... simply "BE YOURSELF." In other words, it's OK to shoot for the stars and reach the moon - as long as you enjoy the Ride... That said, before you brand me as a total Stick-in-the-Mud, let me throw out a few Life Experiences at you... I've driven Indy Race Cars & NASCAR Stock Cars at over 140 mph. I've relaxed with Willie Nelson on his Tour Bus after a great show (no Illicit Substances included). I've photographed over 100 Concerts and have been published a couple dozen times. I torture myself writing Poetry, but it (generally) feels good when I've got something legible down on paper. I put together a Benefit Concert for a young girl w/ Pediatric AIDS, somehow convinced two #1 Artists to show up, and raised over $20, 000 in one nite. My present passion is working with a Wounded Soldiers support organization, and we've set up two smaller benefit concerts for the summer and am currently planning a much larger event - hopefully for early Spring. If my friends had to pick a Song Title to describe me, they'd probably go with "Still Crazy After All These Years" - for which I have little defense! People tell me I don't look my age, which is fine, because I have no intention of acting it! Each time I look, it seems there's another entry on my Things-to-do-in-Life-List." But that's fine - when you quit adding, then it's time to worry. Doing is so much Harder than Saying... but the Rewards are so much Greater. Life is truly fleeting. Yet, turning my Life's Calendar, I see many Warm Days & Cool Evenings ahead, much Passion & Joy to Share. Ultimately, I believe the person who joins me on Life's Journey is destined to help me forge this Path - one just wide enough for two. I choose the Road less Traveled... and You?
